There is a recently opened shopping complex 2 miles north on the U.S. 27 comprising a large Publix supermarket, Chinese and pizza takeaways. There are other shops south on the U.S. 27 and at the Champions Gate golf course and shopping complex (only 5 minutes drive away).  In addition Highway 192 is a 5 minute drive away and this is a major thoroughfare with a myriad of different shops and restaurants.  Just north of the Highway 192 turning is a large Wal-Mart.

Celebration, Disney's own picture postcard town is 10 minutes drive away and is based on the work of some of America's top architects and planners. The town could be straight out of a Disney movie. There is a huge interactive fountain for youngsters to get soaking wet and between Thanksgiving and New Year, snow sprinkles down on Main Street every night.
